What are 10 benefits of fitness?

My insights after exercising that I didn’t know before:

  1. Push-ups and pull-ups, which are simple bodyweight exercises, target both the back and chest muscles, as well as the triceps and biceps. In simple terms, these exercises work on the muscles that are weak and need improvement, rather than targeting specific muscles alone.
  2. The emphasis on different areas varies with different variations of push-ups. Weak back muscles can also be developed with push-ups, while pull-ups work the core, arm grip strength, and even the chest and shoulders. These exercises require coordinated effort. The specific areas targeted during dips on parallel bars differ depending on the angle of the body.
  3. Prior to exercising, I thought common issues like wide hips, excess abdominal fat, outward-turned calves, fat accumulation in the waist and legs, and sunken buttocks were unrelated to me. However, after starting fitness training, I realized that none of these issues can be ignored, and some may even be more pronounced.
  4. Crunches provide minimal stimulation to the abdominal muscles, and if performed correctly, sit-ups won’t harm the spine. However, these are not the most effective exercises for the abdominal muscles.
  5. Starting with aerobic exercises (warm-up) before proceeding to anaerobic exercises raises the body temperature and helps to get into the workout state more quickly. High-intensity aerobic exercises force the lungs to take in a large amount of oxygen, and coupled with an elevated heart rate, result in rapid depletion of muscle glycogen. This makes it unsuitable to combine with anaerobic exercises. Additionally, doing aerobic exercises after anaerobic exercises is also not ideal. If aerobic training can still be performed after anaerobic training, it simply means the intensity of the anaerobic exercises was not sufficient. After high-quality anaerobic training, it is crucial to replenish carbohydrates and protein; otherwise, cortisol levels may rise. Therefore, a scientific training plan should include separate days for aerobic and anaerobic exercises.
  6. Once the habit of fitness is developed, sweat becomes the best facial mask, and the skin truly improves. Moreover, it brings a more pleasant mood and is suitable for relaxation after studying or working.
  7. People who love fitness tend to be pure-hearted, sincere, and kind, with a genuine passion for life.
  8. After exercising, there is a natural aversion to greasy and high-sugar foods. Sometimes, even the sight of such foods can be nauseating. Occasionally indulging in fried chicken and beer during rest and relaxation is acceptable, but most fried foods are not preferred.
  9. Allocate at least two days out of the seven in a week for muscle and body rest. Changes in body fat and muscle occur during rest periods, and continuously exercising without adequate rest can have counterproductive effects.
  10. After working out, wiping off the sweat and looking in the mirror makes you feel like the sexiest and most beautiful person in the world.
